"For in the end, [Huxley] was trying to tell us what afflicted the people in Brave New World was not that they were laughing instead of thinking, but that they did not know what they were laughing about and why they had stopped thinking." --Neil Postman

New Technologies

While looking up Room for Debates, I found one called Is Wearable Tech Destined to Fail. This debates talks about the new technologies that man is able to use in modern day. Technology makes our lives easier as they create more efficiency, and technology is getting more advanced everyday. However, the debate is on whether this wearable tech will appeal to the masses. New kinds of technology include rings that could be used for subway passes. Furthermore, there will be clothing that can collect data about your health. There are so many other possibilities.
Do you think wearable technology will work?
