During the summer, I have noticed that many of us have posted something about discussions from Room for Debate. The site exists so people can share their views on various topics. However, we ourselves are giving our opinions about the debates on a blog. This is taking away from the very reason why the website exists. The people who have posted their views on the website are supporting it simply by contributing to the discussions, while we are, in a sense, whispering about the topics presented by the debates.
While we may be doing this for homework to get into a class, we are still not allowing our views to be seen by a more broad audience. Even if we do not necessarily want our opinions shared for the sake of attention, they could still be helpful to the discussion.
Do you think that we, in a way, are damaging the website? Or are we not technically supposed to put our views on it?

I agree with you on helping out the website because it runs off of the opinions that others come up with. I think that if you want to post your opinion on those sites then go for it, but if you don’t it is okay. It’s just that your opinion will not be noticed by a broad audience.
